Can't Raise your arm? Loosing Sleep at night? Does a Painful Frozen Shoulder cramp your lifestyle? Are there multiple factors affecting the resolution of a frozen shoulder, neck and back? Yes!      Anywhere in the body where we have large movements we will find the control mechanism for those joints are quite extensive. This control is primarily physical, structural,  mental, emotional, hormonal, metabolic and energetic.

Key Factors Affecting the Shoulder

bullet

Structural changes in the Neck, Upper Back, and Dowagers Hump.

bullet

The shoulder has a very complex interaction with most of  the major meridians of the acupuncture system. Drops in energy in the meridian can lockup a shoulder.

bullet

Interaction of 12 major acupuncture meridians from the front and back of the body

bullet

Some of the key emotions held in the shoulder - Grief, Anger, Fear, Worry, Sadness

bullet

Major Muscle groups that reflex to the endocrine system and affect hormone levels.

bullet

Five major nerve trunks from the neck to shoulder, arm and hand

bullet

Mid-back sympathetic nerves affect blood flow to shoulder, arm and hand.

bullet

High levels of stress can cause high levels of cortisol which interferes with the immune system.

bullet

Long term injuries contribute to adrenal exhaustion affecting other systems shut down

bullet

Dowagers Hump suppresses communication with the heart, brain and breathing

bullet

Structural aspects of the spine, rib cage, clavicles, sternum, jaw, cranium, pelvis, feet

bullet

Elbows and wrist shift with the changes in the rib cage and shoulders.

bullet

Sterno Cleido Mastoideus Muscle changes with the clavicle changes and affects the jaw.

bullet

Energetic Acupuncture Neuronet points memorized the trauma in the shoulder complex

bullet

Blood flow, nerve flow, cerebral spinal fluid, communication with the brain, lymphatic drainage all have affects on the well-being of the shoulder.

bullet

The foods we eat can have enormous impact on allowing the shoulder to healing properly!

bullet

Deficiencies in neurotransmitters in brain affect the shoulder.

bullet

Respiratory deficiencies affect the shoulder indirectly.

bullet

Injuries, Trauma, car accident, sports accidents, weightlifting, skiing , falls, all have major impacts on the structural integrity of the shoulder.

Typical doctor / patient dialogue concerning a shoulder problem!

Patient: I Can't raise my arm. I'm  Loosing Sleep? I'm in a lot of pain with this darn  Frozen Shoulder. This really cramps my lifestyle!

Patient: Why is my shoulder still hurting? What can be done? Can't you just give me a pill and make the pain go away?

Doctor: So why is the pain there? What's contributing to that shoulder injury? What other traumas have happened to you in the past?

Patient: Well doctor, that's why  I came to you. You should know why my shoulder hurts, you're  a doctor. Just get rid of my pain that's all I want!

Doctor: What if we can't get rid of the pain unless we take care of the causes?  What kind of  emotions do you feel when you think about  your should-er?  When is the pain the greatest? How many times have you injured your body, not just your shoulder?

Patient: I don't know! Just fix my shoulder! That's  all that's wrong with me,  its just my shoulder!

Doctor: Are your symptoms the only place we should look to help your shoulder problem? What if the  pain is coming from a stored memory that happened a long time ago? What if that injury is stored all over the body with the  primary pain site in your shoulder. What if your stress level set this shoulder problem up? What then.?

Patient: How could a memory of an accident be stored all  over my  body? Its just my shoulder that's the problem. Can't you just fix my shoulder?

Doctor: What I'm really trying to tell you is that your shoulder is not separated from the rest of your body  like most people think it is. Your shoulder is tied in with  dozens or more acupuncture points  and the meridian energy systems. The muscles  supporting  your shoulder are connected to five major nerves that come from the spine. If there are problems where nerves are pinched  in the neck,  you  can't  raise your shoulder properly. Your shoulder sits on top of the  rib cage. What if your rib cage and chest twisted when you hit the steering wheel in your car accident or when you had a fall?    Can you imagine the impact that would have on the rest of your body. This is like the domino effect: 1)  hitting the steering wheel with your chest, 2) twisting your breast bone and reducing the blood supply in your chest, 3) twisting your rib cage and making it difficult for you to breathe, 4) in twisting your rib cage a hiatal hernia gets triggered now gastric reflux plays havoc with your daily eating patterns,  5) your mid back curve rolls over and flattens out, 6) the autonomic nerves that supports the arteries feeding blood to your shoulders, arms and hands  get suppressed, (This promotes numbness and tingling in the hands and arms),   7) the brain has lost its normal control of where the shoulder is located because the  location is different than what is stored in the brains location database, 8) your jaw and  TMJ are attached by muscles to the skull, shoulder and rib cage. Now dental problems begin to appear that you didn't have before.  Many people would not associate this many problems connected to a shoulder problem.

Find the Blueprint of Shoulder Trauma

So where do we start to help you resolve this situation?  The very first thing is for you to understand that your shoulder problem represents a series of learning experiences that taught your shoulder, your body and your brain how to reproduce the layers of trauma you have accumulated over the years. Next we need to find the major contributing factors: sports injuries, car accidents (even the ones you thought you didn't get hurt in because some BODY part did get injured), falls, gymnastics, fall off ladders, falls down stairs, falls as a child that triggered incomplete early developmental stages, physical stress, emotional stress, relationship stress,  work stress, running, weight lifting,  physical abuse, nutritional deficiencies, junk food and empty food values, or any other addictions. Determine what the relevance of these traumas as it relates to your shoulder and the rest of the body.

Why Do We Need So Much Information?

We are examining the software in the brain and body that  literally has thousands of events that are linked to possible causes of shoulder dysfunction.  That software  runs this program called "I Can't Move my Shoulder Because Its Frozen". By being thorough and investigating many probable causes,  we have a better opportunity to have a happy ending. Or by brushing over the key factors and only dealing with where the pain is located, we could miss that core reason why your pain was there in the first place. Which do your choose?

  What to Expect with Treatment?

The treatment is a series of adjustments of the neck,  upper back, shoulder, rib cage, myofascial release, laser, infrared on the Neuronet acupuncture points, massage, traction for your neck when needed,  Brain re-education, muscle rebalancing and re-sequencing, Neuronet acupoints, the Neuro-Lymphatic points, Neuro-Vascular points, Stress Receptor located all over the skull, and the reprogramming of the Neuronet acupuncture points. Clear the visual reflexes, auditory reflexes, kinesthetic reflexes with Neuronet points. Clear the walking gait reflexes.  Clear the memory of the injury from the cerebellum, thalamus, hypothalamus, and basal ganglion. Clear the early primitive reflexes that were triggered in the initial injury or reflexes that never completely got turned off as a baby or young child. Reinstall the correct sequence with the the proper meridian points when necessary and the circadian rhythm points when necessary.

How Can We Retrain What the Body Has Learned?

So how would we teach you brain and body to correct the life long series of events ( layers) that have contributed to a shoulder problems or any other problem? How did you learn in each of these situations involving the body and the shoulder?  Here are a few significant  ways that we want to considered as being major contributing factors to any problem: 1) eighty percent of what we learn is through visual learning. There are significant visual head righting reflexes that must be operating properly for the brain to control the body effectively. Disruption of any of the theses neck or head righting reflexes prevents the brain from controlling the shoulder correctly. Visual memory of past traumas that are stored in the brains neuronet associated with the shoulder plays a significant part in what the brain has learned.  Visually we often times have to put a shoulder or body part in the exact position it was in when the shoulder or other body part got injured. This way we trigger the memory in the neuronet. This allows to release the hidden memory that has been locked in the acupuncture system. 2) Sound plays a huge role in this learning because sound moves matter.  Statistically we find that we learn 11% by hearing but this is not all there is to consider when we view the importance of sound. When we listen to music we find the value in sound in a totally different way. Sound can makes us happy, sad, joyful or mad. Sound can traumatize our bodies in ways most are not aware. So we want to consider how sound can affect the blood, the water in the the blood, the thoughts that we have about our conditions, our sounds about ourselves.  In a book By Dr. Masuru Emoto called the "Hidden Messages of Water",  we get a very clear message of how important sound is by viewing the effects on water with different sounds. For example,  when the sound of "I hate you", " I don't like you" the water took on a murky disruptive pattern. When the words were spoken " I love you",  "Thank You" or "I appreciate you",  then we could see the water responded to the impact of the positive sounds and created structures in the water that were  harmonious, balanced, lasting. Our bodies are approximately 80% water. What kind of impact would sounds of encouragement have on  our conditions. Suppose we reframed the way we thought about our condition with a positive outcome. If the water responded to the thoughts and words I love you then I think we can understand the importance of sound in learning a positive outcome.

In the experience of the author, sound was responsible in a little fender bender,  in altering the shape of the brachial artery which affect my hands , arms, and shoulders. So how could sound do that? The sound of the the collision happened over a fraction of a second estimated to be about 1/10 of a second. the sound level was about 80 db. Because the sound happened over such a short time the equivalent sound was well above the pain threshold of 140db for a full second. That quantity of sound volume altered the brachial artery causing the brachial artery to change shape and get narrower. This restricted the blood flow to my hands and caused the hand not to fill with the proper amount of blood.  So the impact of sound in a car accident, or fall or trauma that involves sound  can have tremendous repercussions on your health.  The third factor is the actual physical movement and feeling of how the physical shoulder went thru a given range of motion or was restricted in its motion or placed in a compromising situation that physically injured the muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments, arteries, nerves, lymphatics etc. This means that we have to look at how disrupting one body part contributes the disruption of other body parts. This body and brain act as a complete unit, holistic,  not fragmented as some individuals think. So the third aspect of learning is that the body gets injured as a complete unit and  not injured as isolated parts. The whole body is injured. The other parts of the body have to adapt and compensate for the injury to one part of the body.  This principle of connectedness is what allow us to return to wholeness instead of fragmentation. The programs of trauma or layers of trauma are stored in the neuronet of the nerve system distributed throughout the body. The key points of this nerve network can be accessed through the acupuncture energy meridian system.
