How Does It Work?

This method is based upon the Chinese medical theory that improper energy flow through the acupuncture meridians causes energetic imbalances in the body's tissues and cells. The computer measures the degree of electrical resistance of the acupuncture points, generally on the hands and the feet. These measurements indicate the relative energetic balances or imbalances of the all inclusive six major systems of the body: Glandular, Eliminative, Nerve, Digestive, Muscular- Skeletal, and Circulatory. It also indicates which nutritional or homeopathic remedy and the exact potency that will bring about an energetic balance. The Computerized Electro-Acupuncture by Voll Testing is an excellent tool used to monitor the incremental changes the body goes through during the treatment program. No piercing of the skin, no discomfort, and no electrical impulses are felt during the testing. The only clothing that must be removed are your shoes and stockings. To quote Janine Romaner, CHT, “In his research, Dr. Voll found that every tooth relates to different organs and tissues within the body through Chinese Acupuncture meridian pathways. For example, the canine tooth was found to be related to the eye, liver and gall bladder, and the front teeth to the bladder and reproductive organs. So if, someone were to have a root canal in one of the front teeth, that root canal may impact the ovary or uterus, especially if a bacterial infection ensues. At the Center for Wellness, Health, Longevity we use EDS of the teeth to help us determine the cranial bones that are out of place. Each tooth relates to different bones in the head. The testing gives us a numerical reading as to just how much stress is on these bones. It also can help us track the patients progress by doing short tests during the treatment process.
